Alexandra Demi, a singer, songwriter and multidimensional artist from the vibrant island of Curaçao. 

Music isn’t just what I do, it’s how I live, how I feel, and how I connect to the world around me. It’s my way of honoring life, love, and the stories that inspire me.

Raised in the deep blend of Afro-Caribbean, Hispanic, and Indian roots, I’ve always felt guided by the sound, rhythm, and spirit of these cultures. This fusion doesn’t just shape my voice, it also shapes how I eat, how I pray, how I understand the world. It’s in every part of my life, and naturally, it flows into my art.

At 18, I moved to Amsterdam, a pivotal chapter that opened me up to new experiences and self-discovery, a time when I was learning and  navigating life’s ups and downs. In 2015, I began performing with my two sisters as part of the reggae girl group Rudegyal Shuffling. That experience gave me a stage to explore my voice and creativity, a time filled with fun, experimentation, and growth.

After several years abroad, I felt the call to return to Curaçao. Coming home allowed me to reconnect with my roots and gave me space to evolve, both musically and spiritually.

Though I’m now based in Jamaica, through life, love, and marriage to a reggae musician, it’s Curaçao’s deep cultural fusion that continues to be the heartbeat of my artistry.

My sound blends elements of Kizomba, Afrobeats, Reggae, and Reggaeton, a reflection of the Caribbean, Latin, and Afro influences that move me. I am proud of my roots, and everything I create is an expression of the love I carry for my Caribbean identity.

In January 2024, I released my debut single, “Enamorá,” a sensual, Kizomba-inspired track about deep connection, where chemistry meets spiritual alignment. It marked the beginning of my solo journey and a deeper exploration of what love, sensuality, and energy mean to me as a woman and an artist.

As I continue creating, music remains the thread that ties each chapter of my journey together, a living soundtrack to my growth, my roots, and the stories still unfolding.
